Which documents work best?

Text-based PDFs with existing accessibility tags: the reading structure created by the authoring tool. Scans and encrypted files are outside the current scope. A result without a reading structure is never offered for purchase.

Why do short PDFs all cost €2.90?

The price is €0.29 per page, with a €2.90 minimum per document. That means 1–10 pages cost €2.90, 20 cost €5.80 and 400 cost €116.00. Applicable VAT is included. The free check costs €0.

What do I get after payment?

The processed PDF, before/after evidence, your review checklist, image-description editing and a purchase confirmation. You or your specialist perform the human review; that service is not included in the price.

Does passing mean fully accessible?

No. Pipeline completion, passing veraPDF machine checks and completing human-review tasks are separate facts. None is an automatic guarantee of full accessibility.

Do all PDFs legally have to be accessible?

No blanket rule applies to every PDF. The publisher, service and document's use determine the applicable duties. Finnish public-sector services and certain consumer services fall under accessibility requirements, with exceptions and transition rules. Check Traficom's guidance for the applicable case. A PDF/UA machine result is not a legal compliance decision.

Where are my files?

Processing runs on the configured EU server; the original is preserved. Files belong to your signed browser session and expire 24 h after upload. Download them before that deadline or delete them yourself. Finished jobs survive ordinary restarts within their original retention window. See privacy and the remaining snapshot limitation.

Why does my organisation hit a network limit?

A shared public IP has 20 checks per hour and 20 per rolling 24 hours. Browsers separately allow 20 uploads per hour. One worker and a bounded queue protect everyone's processing.
